Gallery Walk: Read statements, discuss with buddies, and then choose one or two statements to write a reflection on. Why do you have that opinion? Where did you form this opinion?
STATEMENTS:
1. Your choices show the type of person you are.
2. Racism is not a problem now like it was in 1950s and 60s.
3. Racial profiling (by police officers and security guards) is racist and wrong.
4. Actions speak louder than words.
5. Teenagers should be help to the same standards as adults.
6. Violence is never an appropriate response to any problem or disagreement.
